Cancellation Policy

1st Fitting: If you need to cancel your fitting for any reason, as long as it's 24 hours before the fitting start time, we can refund $65 of the $75 fitting fee. The remaining $10 is non-refundable to cover the fees associated with refunds. If you come for the fitting and decide to get your dress altered at AHEM, the $75 plus tax, will be applied towards your total cost. However, if you decide to not get your dress altered with us, the $75 plus tax is NOT refundable. We block time to meet with you, discuss your vision and assess what the dress needs, so the $75 pays for that time and expert advice. We ask that you please book a phone consultation first to establish expectations. The prices on our website are there to give an idea of starting costs, but every dress is different and costs may go up much higher than the minimum depending on the complexity of the dress. We can try to give a better range over the phone consultation but will need to examine the dress in person to give the most accurate quote. Follow Up Fittings: If you cancel or reschedule a follow-up fitting less than 24 hours in advance or do not show up for your appointment, we give a one-time exception since we know sometimes emergencies happen. However, for any subsequent cancellations/rescheduling that is done less than 24 hours in advance or if you do not show up for your appointment, a $75 rebooking fee will be applied to your invoice for each instance. This policy is to be fair to both our employees' time and other customers who may have wanted to book for that time slot. Thank you for your understanding!
