Refund Policy (When a Refund Applies) We care about your garment and your experience. Alterations are hands-on work, and while we use proven processes and careful handling, clothing construction and fabric behavior can be unpredictable. If something doesn’t go as planned, we’ll work with you respectfully and reasonably toward the best solution. Refunds are not automatic. A refund is only considered when management determines it’s the most appropriate final resolution. Remedies Policy (How We Make Things Right) If an issue is reasonably determined by management to be caused by our alteration work, our first step is to correct it through additional tailoring or repair at no charge when possible. If a repair is not possible or does not reasonably resolve the issue, management may offer a store credit or refund as a final resolution. Maximum Responsibility (Per Garment Limit) In any situation where a refund or credit is deemed appropriate by management, our maximum responsibility is limited to $600 per garment. This cap includes any remedy of any kind (repair, replacement contribution, store credit, or refund), regardless of the garment’s original purchase price. High-Value Garments (Over $600) For garments valued over $600, we strongly recommend you maintain your own insurance coverage (through homeowners/renters or specialty coverage). Unless a higher limit is agreed to in writing before work begins, the $600 per garment maximum responsibility still applies. Fitting Approvals (Confirming Changes) Alterations are based on what we see and confirm during your fitting. At the end of each fitting, we’ll confirm the planned adjustments with you. Once you approve the plan and leave the appointment, any change of mind or additional adjustments may require an additional fitting and may be billable. Reference Photos (For Accuracy) To protect both you and our team, we may take intake and fitting reference photos of the garment (no faces required) to document its condition, details, and approved changes. These photos help prevent misunderstandings and support accuracy.
